Aerosmith – Get Your Wings

Aerosmith - Get Your Wings CB097 front

Aerosmith’s second album ‘Get Your Wings’ was recorded at the Record Plant in New York City between December 1973 and January 1974. Surprisingly it only peaked at #74 on the US Billboard 200 but later of course went 3x platinum. Producer engineer Jack Douglas recalls the crowd noise at the end of the track ‘Train Kept A-Rollin’ was taken from the ‘Concert for Bangladesh’ which Douglas had worked on. He also engineered Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ album and  many other artist with great success. Those familiar with the track order of the LP will notice the Q8 has the songs ‘Woman of the World’ and ‘Seasons of Wither’ swapped. Sourced from a member provided Q8 and we all thank them for the share without hesitation. Enjoy    CB
